Everybody benefits

Silva techniques are not just for struggling artists. Even those at the very top of their field can benefit in many ways.

Dord Fitz, who was an outstanding artist, art teacher, and art historian, inspired thousands of us to claim our creative heritage. He did not need help to become a great artist. But he was thrilled with the benefits he got in his personal life from Jose Silva's method. "It is what I had been looking for my entire life," he said.

There are two steps that proved so valuable to Fitz and countless others:

1. Learning to enter the alpha level and to activate your mind, thereby using the subconscious consciously, and converting the subconscious into an inner conscious dimension.

2. The mental projection exercises that are featured in the Silva UltraMind ESP System. These "mental calesthentics," as Jose Silva liked to call them, provide you with "points of reference" - a roadmap to guide you while functioning in the creative, spiritual dimension.

When Doc Severinsen took the course back in 1980, he was one of the most famous band leaders in America, appearing nightly on late night television. He told us that he used the alpha level to compose music, to help him with personal relationships, and much more.

Harry Jackson, the "Sculptor of the American West," was the main speaker at our 1981 Silva International Convention. Evidence of his success as an artist comes not only from the critical international acclaim he receives, it is confirmed by the fact that he earned $5 million the previous year.

Jackson said that after dropping out of high school, he headed west where he learned the trade of the cowboy. He was "killed" during service in World War II and then revived, but the head wound that he suffered left him with epileptic seizures and a lot of anger and resentment for the next three decades.

It was only after he attended the Silva course in with instructor Paul Grivas in New York City in 1980 that Jackson finally found peace and an understanding of how the events of his life made him the man he is today.

This big, rough looking, rough riding, bronco busting cowboy is obviously a man of great spiritual depth. He has carried a copy of the Bagavad Gita - the most spiritual writings of the Hindu religion - in the hip pocket of his jeans ever since World War II. But it took the Silva System to help him find peace with himself.

Speaking at our 1981 Silva International Convention, he said that the Silva System is the most powerful method he has found yet for "helping the human soul to find itself."

That's also what Dord Fitz was looking for thorough art - and teaching to his art students - when he met Jose Silva and found what he had been seeking his entire life.

We have been told that we were made in the image of our Creator. That means that we are creative beings. We encourage you to claim your creative heritage. That is the very essence of life. It is essential that we function creatively in order to come up with creative solutions to the many problems that plague the world today.

Jose Silva always believed that's what we were sent here to do. He says it this way at the end of our mental training exercises:

"You will continue to strive to take part in constructive and creative activities to make this a better world to live in, so that when we move on we shall have left behind a better world for those who follow. You will consider the whole of humanity, depending on their ages, as fathers or mothers, brothers or sisters, sons or daughters. You are a superior human being; you have greater understanding, compassion, and patience with others."
